SECTION 6: TERMS & CONDITIONS

The application for membership will be entertained only after payment of prescribed fee. The Oasis Swimming Pool reserves the right to accept or reject the application. In case of rejection the membership fee will be refunded to the applicant. The membership of Oasis Swimming Pool is provisional and is subject to approval by the Selection Committee. All members must abide by these rules otherwise membership may be withdrawn. Oasis Swimming Pool reserves the right to changethese rules from time to time. Any amendment in the rules shall be duly communicated to the members.

Membership

1. Upon acceptance of membership application by the Selection Committee every member will receive a Oasis Swimming Pool card which must be shown at reception on every visit. Replacement cards will be subject to payment of administration fee. The Oasis Swimming Pool card is non-transferable without Oasis Swimming Pool approval and remains the property of Oasis Swimming Pool.

2. The membership is not transferable and must only be used by the registered member. Violation of this rule will result in the cancellation of membership.

3. The membership card entitles the user of the benefits associated with the Oasis Swimming Pool specific to thecategory subscribed only.

4. The management of Oasis Swimming Pool reserves the right to cancel any membership in breach of rules or due to the conduct which in the view of the management is offensive to other members and / or staff or represents a health and safety hazards.

5. Individual membership may be frozen for a period of 3 months in case of medical problem or out of station stay upon request from the member. Other reasons may be considered at the discretion of the management of Oasis Swimming Pool.

6. The membership of Oasis Swimming Pool doesn’t entail any right whatsoever upon a member regarding management and administration of the facility. Suggestions from the members to improve upon the facility are welcomed; but htsi, in no way, gives any right to the member(s) to interfere into the management & administration of the Oasis Swimming Pool management which is the sole jurisdiction of FAAW Enterprises.

7. In case of loss Oasis Swimming Pool card, the member will have to pay prescribed fee for issuance of a new Oasis Swimming Pool card.

   Health and Safety

   1. Non-Swimmers are not allowed to enter the main pool.

   2. Cell Phones are not allowed. Deposit cell phones at the reception.

   3. Swimming costume and swimming cap is compulsory.

   4. Do not litter.

   5. Max 60 mins swimming is allowed to each member and he is requested to leave after that to give opportunity to others.

   6. Change/Shower room will be kept dry/ neat and tidy, by the staff on duty.

   7. Don’t leave your children unattended.

   8. Running around the pool premises is not allowed.

   9. Electronic devices are not allowed.

   10. Individual is responsible for safe custody of his belongings.

   11. Take the locker keys from reception after submitting your CNIC/ Oasis Swimming Pool ID card and return the keys at reception while leaving the swimming pool.

   12. Rs. 1500/- will be fined for damaging locker or misplacing the locker key.

       • POOL HYGIENE

         1. Take a shower before you enter the pool.

         2. Cleanse your feet from disinfectant placed near the pool before entering inside the pool.

         3. Maintain personal hygiene.

         4. Trim your fingernails, toe nails and hair.

         5. Wash / Cleanse your feet from disinfectant tub placed near pool side.

         6. Spitting, gargling, and nose blowing is not allowed inside the pool.

         7. Person suffering from skin or infectious disease will not enter the pool.

         8. No glass, drinks, or food inside the pool.

         9. Don’t swallow the water you swim in.

         10. Don’t enter the pool with open cuts and wounds.

         11. No pins or clips inside the pool.

         12. Female to wear swimming costume w/o undergarments in order to maintain pool hygiene.

         13. Co-operate with management to deliver their best.

         Opening Hours – General

8. Oasis Swimming Pool may, from time to time, withdraw use of all or any part of the facilities where and when it is deemed necessary for repair, maintenance, alteration, alternative use or for safety reasons.

9. The opening times may be changed from time to time. A minimum of 2 weeks’ caution will be provided tomembers and will be advertised within the facility as well.

10. All opening times are subject to timetables that may affect usage of a specific facility.

    Miscellaneous

11. Vehicles must be parked accordingly in the parking. Please pay due attention and priority to the space reserved for disabled users. No liability is accepted for loss or damage to cars or property and is solely atowner’s risk.

12. Any activity regarding a sports event / tournament / match is subject to approval of management of Oasis Swimming Pool as well as the availability of facility during the dedicated/allotted time slot.

13. Proper decorum and code of conduct is to be observed. No hooting, shouting, and bullying is permitted inthe facility.

14. Management has right to restrict entry/usage of the facility at any time. The decision of the Board ofGovernors of Oasis Swimming Pool shall be final.

15. The staff on duty has authority to enforce Oasis Swimming Pool rules and regulations. Members are expected to extended cooperation and due respect to officials working at Oasis Swimming Pool.

16. Oil ointments, lotions, creams, glycerin and anything of such nature must be washed / removed beforeentering into the pools.

SECTION 4: ACCEPTANCE & AGREEMENT

Acknowledgment of Risks, Injury & Obligations:

• I may be injured, physically or mentally, or may die. I solely take responsibility of any harm done to me.

• Other persons participating in such activity may cause me injury or may damage my property. I will handlethe situation myself and any personal matter shall not be considered a responsibility of Oasis Swimming Pool and its staff.

I/We hereby agree to accept and abide by the terms of this Membership Application and Agreement. I/We understand that this membership agreement is for a term of twelve (12) months and will continue thereafter on amonth-to-month basis unless cancelled by me (either of us)
